Linked connects student and researcher projects with investors and supporting organizations while respecting user privacy and protecting the intellectual property rights of published projects and ideas.

1. Data Privacy

The platform collects information provided by users during registration or project submission, including names, email addresses, universities, specializations, project information, images, and attachments. This information is used to manage accounts, review projects, display approved projects, and facilitate communication between project owners and interested organizations.

2. Project Owner Declaration

By submitting a project, the user confirms that the project, research, files, and accompanying content belong to them or that they are legally authorized to upload and publish them through the platform.

The user also confirms that the project is not plagiarized and does not infringe the rights of any other party, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights.

3. Intellectual Property Protection

Ownership of the project, idea, research, and uploaded files remains with the project owner or the entity that owns them. Linked does not acquire ownership of projects by displaying or using them on the platform.

The project owner grants Linked a limited license to display the project’s information, images, and description on the platform and for project-related marketing and promotional purposes, unless the project owner requests otherwise in writing.

4. Publication Policy

Projects are not published automatically. Each project is reviewed by the Linked team before it is made visible to investors or supporting organizations.

The platform may reject, hide, or remove any project containing inaccurate, unlawful, copied, or otherwise inappropriate content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content that does not align with the platform’s objectives.

5. Confidential Information

Project owners should not upload confidential information, unregistered patent material, or sensitive technical details they do not wish to share. Research teams are advised to protect their legal rights before publishing material details of a project.

6. User Responsibility

Users are legally responsible for the accuracy of all information, documents, and content they upload and for any claim or dispute arising from infringement of third-party rights.

7. Communication Between Parties

Linked acts as a platform for introductions and communication and is not a party to any investment or commercial agreement between a project owner and an investor or supporting organization unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Data Changes or Deletion

Users may request that their information or project be changed or deleted by contacting the platform administration at info@linkeduae.com.

9. Policy Updates

Linked may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be published on this page.
